There are some differences between British and American English, even though they are mostly the same. In your essay, you can use either form of English, but you SHOULD NOT MIX them together. (Có một số khác biệt giữa tiếng Anh Anh và Anh Mỹ, mặc dù chúng hầu hết giống nhau. Trong bài luận, bạn có thể sử dụng một trong hai dạng tiếng Anh, nhưng bạn không nên kết hợp chúng với nhau.)
If you want to use English - American in your essay, then use it throughout the lesson, or vice versa. (Nếu bạn muốn sử dụng tiếng Anh - Mỹ trong bài luận của bạn, hãy sử dụng nó xuyên suốt bài hoặc ngược lại.)
Ex: "The color of the orange is also its flavour."
→"The color of the orange is also its flavor." → AMERICAN ENGLISH
→"The colour of the orange is also its flavour." → BRITISH ENGLISH
Below are some differences in spelling that you need to know in your writing.

There are also other examples that you must remember. No matter which English you use, words must not be mixed between two types causing confusion to readers.
