1. Using synonyms (Sử dụng từ đồng nghĩa)
Using synonyms is an integral part of paraphrasing and of course synonyms are very effective in the article if we know how to choose the right word. (Sử dụng đồng nghĩa là một phần không thể thiếu để diễn đạt lại ý nghĩa của từ, và tất nhiên từ đồng nghĩa đem lại hiệu quả rất cao trong bài viết nếu chúng ta biết chọn từ phù hợp.)

- Pollution = Contamination
- Big city = Large metropolis
- Advantageous = Beneficial

2. Using compound words (Sử dụng từ ghép)

Well-off (khấm khá, khá giả)

Hit-or-miss (ngẫu nhiên)

3. Avoiding the mistakes (Tránh lỗi sai)
Ex: Many people are unhealthy because they fail to eat well and exercise.
→ Many people have poor health, they are failing to eat well and are not exercising enough.
4. Changing sentence structure (Thay đổi cấu trúc câu)
Ex 1. She was surprised to find that she had been upgraded to first class.
→ Being upgraded to first class is surprising.
Ex 2. I was confused by the findings of the report.
→ The findings of this report are confusing.
